Manzanita Academy It’s an educational place!
How did Manzanita Academy start? One of the things that motivated us to create this space is because we live in a multicultural country; where we understood the need to educate children with 2 or more languages to meet this requirement. I have been a teacher for over 15 years; We were surprised to know how many parents were interested in having their children have Preschool Education combined with the Care of children who do not speak Spanish.
When we started looking around, we discovered that the availability of care was quite limited; and expensive; We wanted to offer a Spanish Immersion service, where parents would be excited: That their children, clean, professional and open the hours that parents needed attention. We want to continue growing, learning, watching for better service to children, families, and the community. Offering a bilingual and Christian service. This is how my daughter and I opened “Manzanita Academy” with one thing in mind a 100% bilingual Educational and Family Center. We hope you and your child will become part of our family today. Manzanita Academy's mission is to promote a quality educational service in an immersive, pleasant, appropriate, and Christian environment for your children, where children's development is Physical, Social, Emotional, and Cognitive.
Manzanita Academy's vision is to immerse early childhood kids in an Immersion environment, making it possible for them to Learn, Play and Grow in a loving and accepting environment, acquire a solid educational foundation, and thus continue their bilingual education.
It provides constant accompaniment and observation to children and teachers. It also addresses the concerns and questions of parents and supports them closely, when required.
Various schools are held throughout the year: for Parents, Grandparents, Brothers and Nanas, that is, all the people who are an important part of the child’s environment.
Development of group workshops of attention, social skills and identification and recognition of emotions. The main objective is to detect and strengthen children’s abilities and help strengthen the areas that each one has to improve.
We contact specialists in the area of psychology in special cases in order to ensure a pleasant environment for everyone.
